Ahhh! I'm so excited to announce that I will be hosting my very own Performance Workshop...

This workshop is for all ages (with Key Stage 1 in mind) and your little one is guaranteed to love it!

We will be using performance techniques which I am trained in, in order to help with your child's physical development and self expression. Some of these include singing through nursery rhymes, dancing through Disney and using their imagination through story-telling.

If your child is particularly shy and wondering that maybe this isn't the type of thing that they would usually do, than that's your reason to come! Trust me I was a shy child and now I'm running an event of my own!

Little Footsteps, will be held on Tuesday the 8th April 2025 at All Saints Church Hall, Kesgrave IP5 1AA.

I did this in mind with a location so that you can sit back with a coffee for an hour ;) and also there are toilets in case you or your little one need them.

Parking is FREE! However parking on site is 'First Come First Served' and there is free parking around the surrounding roads if necessary.

I've held this in mind during the Easter half term as I wanted to create an affordable event for parents and children to attend, in case you’re stuck at home wondering what to do then I've got you! Hopefully you will have a sleepy child in the car on the way back home! ;)

Please ensure that your child in wearing comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear, we will be running around.

If you are interested in attending this workshop then please message or call me on 07746733112 or email me at breannakeown22@gmail.com. This workshop has limited spaces so best to get your place booked!

This workshop is pay on the day in cash.

Any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me I'd love to hear from you.

I started dancing from the age of 7 at a local dance school in Waltham Stone named 'Lynda McCartney Christie School of Dancing'. I was in total awe of the beauty of dancing which lite a spark in me which has been my passion ever since. I studied Ballet, Tap, Modern & Gymnastics and participated in shows and exams, which started my qualifications. You'd be surprised to hear but growing up I was a very shy child and with my love for dancing apparent my mum decided that an acting group would help to bring me out of my shell and since I have had the love for all types of performance.

he progression of my age meant I then moved on to a Performing Arts Academy named 'Miss G's Performing Arts.' Based in Royston, Hertfordshire I carried on my studies of Ballet, Tap and Modern and also studied Commercial and Musical Theatre. During this time I had the opportunity to perform at some amazing events such as; Formula 1, The Royal Albert Hall, and The West End Shaftesbury Theatre for productions such as Footloose, Viva la Vida, WW1 100 years remembrance.

As I approached my GCSE's I knew that it was a definite choice for me to choose Drama and Dance. I studied the AQA syllabus for 3 years completing shows and showcases along the way, one being a Shakespeare performance at Never-hall where I played the role of Shakespeare's wife. Alongside this I joined HotHouse Dance for their 'Advanced Contempary Training' qualification. This led me to achieve my ART's award for contemporary dance qualification which in turn meant I worked with some amazing companies such as; The Place, 2FacedDance, MotionHouse, BoyBlue, Irie Dance Theatre.

September 2020 it was time for me to start my A levels. My passion for both Drama and Dance was as vibrant as ever and I knew that I wanted to choose a subject where I had the creativity to do both. I studied my 'Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Art' for two years at Cambridge Regional College and gained some of my greatest friends along the way.  During these two years some of the performances I worked on consisted of; on 'TWO' by Jim Cartwright, 'Love and Information' by Caryl Churchill and 'The Dumb Waitor' by Harlod Pinter. I also got the amazing opportunity of talking to the director of  the best sold horror film in 2020 'HOST' also getting  a rare rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes (the most popular film rating website.)

My training for singing first started while I was at 'Miss G's Academy for Performing Arts' for breath work to help with stage nerves. Which some became an addition for my love of performing. I joined 'The Academy' which focused on Musical Theater training where I performed 'The Rhythm of Life' at the Cambridge Junction. After my years of staying in training I then started to learn into Musical Theater singing while at college. This has lead to the decision to apply for Arts schools which is where I'm currently at meaning my journey is far from being over yet...
